Ring Central

The project came about after the client (Ring Central) needed a website that they could update on the go and circulate it to multiple clients of their own. Due to the nature of the company, several templates were needed based on different industries such as Higher Education or Finance. A custom backend interface was needed, it would open a way for the users of Ring Central to update the design and content of the webpage.

The project was broken down into several phases. An agile methodology approach was adopted, which meant each design and development iteration the client reviewed it at the end of each stage. Client requirements were filtered and refined during the process and adaptability was explored when it came down to the customisation of templates.

The project resulted in a website being built using WordPress as the platform but the design being hardcoded due to client needs. The Advanced Custom Fields Plugin was utilised, it helped facilitate a visual backend that allowed the users and developers of RingCentral to create, manoeuvre and style content as they see fit for their own respective client.

Due to data protection and client privacy, the backend UI which allows users to change the web content, style structure and layout cannot be shown for privacy reasons.
